Today I want to write about a very special event that I attended to last night: the art auction in favor of the Comité Internacional Pro-Ciegos (International Committee for Blind People).

The Comité Internacional Pro-Ciegos is a comprehensive rehabilitation center, of which main objective is to provide psychosocial assistance and vocational training to adult people with visual disability, so that they can further develop as useful members of society.
The event took place in Mexico City at Museo Soumaya – which, by the way, is a work of art itself.
The action included 98 works of modern and contemporary art, and here I just want to show you guys some of my favorites.

The event summoned people from different sectors of society, including business people, artists, and art aficionados, but the most important guests were the beneficiaries of Pro-Ciegos, who despite their disability, were being helpful by successfully serving as waitresses.

Hoy les quiero contar sobre un evento muy especial al que fui ayer. La subasta en beneficio del Comité Internacional Pro-Ciegos.
El Comité Internacional Pro-Ciegos es un centro de rehabilitación integral para personas con capacidad visual que brinda asistencia psicosocial y entrenamiento vocacional para personas adultas que sufren de dicha discapacidad, de manera que puedan participar activamente como miembros de la sociedad.
El evento se realizó en el Museo Soumaya de la Ciudad de México, el cual es una obra de arte en si mismo (ver foto).
Se subastaron 98 obras de arte moderno y contemporáneo y aquí les mostraré cuáles fueron las que más me gustaron.
El evento convocó a personas de diferentes sectores de la sociedad, incluyendo personas de negocios, artistas y aficionados, pero los invitados más especiales fueron los beneficiarios de Pro-Ciegos, que participaron activamente como meseros del evento.
